Hi, I’m Bridget Pleasants — the maker behind Pleasants Made. I’m an indie pattern designer by way of many other creative paths. Over the years I’ve worked as a product designer, user experience designer, and graphic designer, spending plenty of time behind a screen. Eventually, I felt the pull to slow down and return to making things with my hands.
That pull became Pleasants Made — sewing patterns designed with movement, comfort, and real life in mind. My days are split between knitting, gardening, cooking, hiking, chasing my chickens, and keeping up with my son. I need clothes that can keep up with all of it: functional, wearable, and still a little cute. These patterns are made for living in, not just looking at.
